Dr. Perry Patel spent his early childhood in London, England. His family moved to San Luis Obispo in 1984. Following high school, Dr. Patel earned his bachelors degree in biochemistry from UCLA. He then proceeded to the UCLA School of Dentistry, receiving his doctorate degree in 1998 and returned to the Central Coast, working in several different offices. In 2002 he established his own practice in Grover Beach, and subsequently moved to the Pismo Beach Medical Campus as his practice outgrew the location.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Central Coast Dental Society. Dr. Patel is active with dental outreach programs, and screening in the local area. Outside of the office, Dr. Patel lives with his wife and two children. An avid golfer, he also enjoys reading and photography.
